health care worker training
final exams for our health care workers

Mid-November saw the completion of the Health Care Workers training. This was both a
theoretical and practical course that has continued over the past year. Out of 20 workers
10 have successfully passed the final exam, that comprised a written, viva and OSCE
(objective structural clinical examination) component.
This photo shows the first graduates . All the workers have been working voluntarily in their own community medical camps over the duration of the course, and this commitment has highlighted their drive and affiliation to New Foundations vision.
They will be in employment of the charity from december 2005, equipped with drugs
and an equipment bag, and further training is planned to develop areas of special interest,
gynaecological, HIV, palliative care and mental health.
