'My interest in this humanitarian struggle started in 1996 when I entered Nursing College, training to become a registered Nurse of Nigeria[RN].
I subsequently qualified as a Midwife in 2001 in the University of Benin teaching Hospital .Being a member of the Nigerian Red Cross Society was a further booster, and it was from this time that I developed a special interest in Adolescent Reproductive Health.
In 2003 I was sent to the remote riverine area in Gbaregolor community, to discover the numerous health problems of the people, mainly due to ignorance. I was to assess 2 Health facilities, and decided to establish an N.G.O. among the youths whom I trained to be Health Advocators.[TODAY'S YOUTH HEALTH ORGANISATION]
Our major work is tp create awareness and to sensitize the community people on health problems affecting them through Public health .talks,Rallies,Drama,Poems,Songs,Debates e.t.c.

There is need to strenghten and sustain our work continuously and also to visit other communities with our crusade but we lack the necessary resources as the only means now is my small salary and I am presently doing a course in PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING......... ' dec 2005
